Here are some great appetizers for your fancy party! These appetizers are a great way to start off any meal!
Bacon Burger Bites
Ingredients
1 lb. ground beef
1/2 c. bread crumbs
1 large egg, beaten
1 tbsp. barbecue sauce
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
kosher salt
Freshly ground black pepper
8 slices bacon, halved
6 slices mozzarella cheese, cut into small squares
Pickled Jalapeños, for serving
Ranch dressing, for serving
Directions
Combine ground beef, bread crumbs, the egg, barbecue sauce and garlic powder.
Season everything with salt and pepper. Roll the mixture into tablespoon-sized meatballs.
Heat a large nonstick pan over medium heat.
Wrap each meatball in a slice of bacon.
Place the meatballs in the skillet and cook on all sides until the bacon is crispy and the meat is cooked to your liking. We suggest about 12 minutes.
Top each of the meatball with a square of cheese.
Cover the pan with lid and cook until the cheese is melted again. About 12 minutes.
Remove the meatballs from the pan.
Top each one of the meatball with a slice of pickled jalapeno then stick a toothpick into the center before serving.
Bacon-Wrapped Pickles
Ingredients
12 mini dill pickles
1 block cream cheese, softened
1 1/2 c. shredded Cheddar
1 clove garlic, chopped
12 slices bacon, halved
Directions
Start with preheating the oven to 3500. Halve the pickles and scoop out the centers and discard them.
Stir together cream cheese, cheddar and garlic until they are combined.
Spoon mixture into pickles and wrap with a half slice of bacon.
Transfer this to a parchment-lined baking sheet and bake until the mixture is warm and bacon is crispy. This will take about 15 minutes.
Serve right away!
Loaded BBQ Fries
Ingredients
1 package frozen shoestring French fries
1/2 (16 oz.) container pulled pork
1 c. Shredded Colby Jack
1 plum tomato, diced
1/2 white onion, diced
1 Bunch Green onions, chopped
1 jar barbecue sauce, for drizzling
Directions
Preheat the oven according to French fry package instructions and cook the French fries for the minimum time indicated.
Remove from the oven and use a spatula to flip the fries so that the crispy side is now facing down.
Cover the fries with pulled pork, cheese, tomato, onion and green onions.
Return to the oven and bake until cheese has melted about 10 minutes.
Serve with additional barbecue sauce.
