Add a festive touch to the windows with some great-looking wreaths.

Go with classic colors; Paint selected leaves of a magnolia wreath with red, green and white. Once the leaves are dry, brush some glue onto the top of the white leaves and decorate them with some glitter for added sparkle.

Snowcapped village; to decorate a feathery wreath, make a couple of card stock house and use some pins to secure it in the middle.

The Bells and the Bows; find yourself a boxwood wreath with a few festive add-ons: Knot two pieces of 6”red ribbon and wire a jingle bell to the center of the wreath. Hot-glue a skewer to the back of the wreath and use it to push into the place.

2. Woodland Stockings

Great felt and fabric stockings to hang up the doorway.

Start with printing the templates. And cut the shapes in fabric and felt. Sew the front and the back of the stocking shapes together leaving a ¼” seam. Turn them inside out. And for the cuff, cut out an 8” x 16” rectangle from matching felt. And sew the ends together with again a ¼” seam. Turn inside out and slide over the top of the stocking. Tuck 3 inches off the cuff from the inside off the top of the stocking. Hot-glue it in place. Glue together a ¾” x 10” strip of a matching felt to make a loop and hot-glue it to the stocking.

And from the cotton batting, cut out a shape of a head somewhat smaller than the felt pieces. Keep the batting piece between the shapes of the head and hot-glue them together. Cut a 6” x 48” rectangle and sew it together on the long sides. Turn inside out (use the selvage as edge on the short ends to avoid fraying). Once you have attached the body features. (Click here). Wrap the cotton scarf twice and tie it.
