Recycle Tin Cans to make great pen holders
The solution for a messy desk does not have to be expensive. How far you go with this is entirely up to you. You can use one can and leave it bare for a purely “rustic” look. Or you can paint the exterior.
Another lovely idea is to wrap the tin cans with wool. This is super easy to do and you can even for great chic colors. The choice is completely to you.
A super easy cake stand ever
Do you also have some pretty plates that would look amazing with a cake stand on top of them?
Build a cake stand to hold all your delicious treats. You can paint to decorate the cans to keep the plates.
Use the tin cans as cookie cutters
Wash the tin cans and recycle tin cans to cut into your cookie dough. This way you don’t have to invest in a cookie cutter. But make sure the tin cans aren’t rusted and that you wash them in lukewarm water.
Upcycle the tin cans into handy drawer storage
Messy drawers? You can save an incredible amount of time, especially in the mornings when you use tin cans to organize your drawers. You can cut them down to a desired size to fit them in to shorter drawers. If you want them to stop from sliding around inside the drawers, use piece of Blue-tack on the underside of the tin.
Make Vintage Planters inside your home
Bring a touch of vintage in to your kitchen with some soup cans. You don’t even have to take off the labels especially since it’s the labels that give the vintage vibe.
The perfect breadstick solution
Bowls can be too low and the glasses can be too narrow to lay out the snacks. Clean up a tin can and put out the snacks for the guests. You can cover the cans up with patterned paper or you can even paint.
