Ingredients

 

1 lb. ground chicken

3/4 c. bread crumbs

1 large egg

1 tbsp. chives, plus more for garnish

1 tsp. cayenne

kosher salt

Freshly ground black pepper

5 tbsp. unsalted butter, melted

7 tbsp. hot sauce, such as Frank’s

1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce

1/2 tsp. garlic powder

Blue cheese dressing, for dipping

 

 

Directions to prepare the Slow Cooker Buffalo Chicken Meatballs

Preheat the oven to 4000 and line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.

Mix chicken with bread crumbs, garlic, eggs, chives and cayenne in a large bowl until everything is combined.

Season the contents with salt and pepper.

Roll the mixture you just prepared into 20 meatballs. Around two tablespoons of chicken should take to make one meatball.

Bake the 20 meatballs until they are firm. This should take about 5 minutes. Transfer these to the slow cooker.

Mix the melted butter with hot sauce and Worcestershire sauce in a medium sized bowl.

Whisk to combine and pour over the meatballs. Place the lid on the slow cooker and cook it on low for two hours.

Serve the meatballs with a drizzle of blue cheese and chives for garnish.
